Rules Of PlayPlay is governed by the USGA Golf Rules and RegulationsOpen tournament format (non-handicap) Three Club Maximum!Entry fee is $250 per team Fee includes golf, dinner and prizes. Entry deadline is May 1, 2012Each team is composed of two players Each team guaranteed 18 Holes of competitionThirty-two (32) two man team pairings and hole assignments will be posted at the start of the tournament at the Tuscumbia pro shop.Championship flights will begin at 6:00 a.m., 7:45 a.m. 9:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. 2:45 p.m. 4:30 p.m.Consolation flights will begin at 11:15 p.m. 1:00 p.m. 2:45 p.m. 4:30 p.m.All flights will begin with a “Shotgun” start at the posted hourEach subsequent flight, pairings and hole assignments will be posted no less than 30
minutes prior to the next flight. Each flight will begin sharply at the posted time. Any team not at the tee box at the designated time of play will be disqualified Each player is allowed (3) clubs in their bag, one of which is a putter. Carrying more than (3) clubs at anytime will result in immediate disqualificationMust tee ball in the designated “Artificial” surface areaContest holes will be signed and marked accordingly Tournament “Marshalls” will monitor contestant qualifications and awardsScoring is two man stroke play Lowest (16) team scores in (1st) round will advance to championship bracket Highest (16) team scores in (1st) round will form the consolation bracketLowest (8) team scores in (2nd) round will advance in their respective bracketsLowest (4) team scores in (3rd) round will advance in their respective bracketsLowest (2) team scores will compete for the championship and consolation championship in their respective bracketsAll ties will be settled by a (1) hole playoff on the Par 3 (10th) hole at Tuscumbia Country Club. Low team score for the hole will advanceScorecard must be signed by both members of the team & attested by one of the opposing players and submitted to the tournament director or his designee at the conclusion of each (9) hole roundNo designated out-of-bounds areas on entire par 3 courseCup and tee locations will be changed after each roundAll rule challenges and inquisitions will be handled by the Head Tournament Official who will be on the course/cart and properly identified as such The Head Tournament Official’s decision will be the final decision Tournament Champions $2500Consolation Champions $1000Championship Runner-ups $1000 Consolatiion Runner-ups $500
